Hiring Event Coordinator for Culture Black Fine Art Expo 2024:
Position Summary:
The primary role of the Event & Volunteer Coordinator is to make our art fundraiser efficient, cost-effective, and memorable. The ideal candidate should possess the skills to assess and negotiate with vendors and donors, coordinate volunteers, oversee planning, and guide the planning committee. Additionally, they should manage communications effectively with artists, attendees, speakers, and client stakeholders. This person will spearhead the initiative to identify and select artists for the event, making it beneficial if they are actively involved in the art community. Above all, the event
coordinator must be comfortable in a leadership role that demands a creative, business-driven mindset and lasting relationships with Artists, vendors, donors, and volunteers.
Working Relationships: The Event/Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Chief Administrative Officer.

The Culture Black Fine Art Expo, introduced by KBK Foundation, is aimed at highlighting the value of Black Fine Art as both a representation of Black culture and a valuable investment. The event will feature a selection of reputable galleries and Black Fine Art dealers from Columbus and across the country, chosen by KBK Foundation to participate in the expo.
